Once upon a
time in the summer of 1999, two
friends Mary Alexander and
Kerryann Manley put their heads
together and came up with Happy
Bottoms. Having two year olds
at the time they knew the
challenges first hand of
changing diapers and applying
messy creams
and ointments.
The
conversation started while
preparing for a garage sale on a
Friday morning in June. The two
friends, a best buddy and the
sister in the law all gathered
around a screaming kiddo with a
bad diaper rash. After
witnessing the battle of
applying a thick, messy cream to
an already scalded bottom the
sister in law made a remark…..”I
can’t believe after all these
years we’re still smearing that
stuff on with our fingers." A
light bulb moment for Mary and
Kerryann… Happy Bottoms was
born.
The duo is
now celebrating their 10 year
anniversary. Happy Bottoms
Diaper Rash Spray and Happy
Bottoms Cleansing Spray have
earned their place on the
changing table of many nurseries
across the world. Young and old
have found this “magic spray” to
be the promise of an easier and
more effective way to treat
rashes in the most tender
of areas.
